The Occupy Wall Street protests that have been going on in New York City for the past 3 weeks have spread to Washington, D.C. now. Al-Jazeera English was in D.C. to get reaction from some of the protestors.
From the interview with one of the protestors:
Reporter: “Excuse me, sir. Can I just ask you why you’re out here marching today? Why you’re walkin’?”
Protestor: “Oh, (inaudible), so I can get a job. They gotta pay my social security, buddy. They got no work. And them thieves over there, should be hangin’ out in these trees, (that is) where they should be.”
